 Indiana Tube Corporation
Indiana Tube Corporation is a manufacturer of small diameter
welded steel tubing and fabrication of painted wire on
tube condensers. Indiana Tube Corporation consists of two
plants in the United States and one in Denmark and has
become a dependable international supplier for manufacturers
in the refrigeration, automotive, and heating element industries.
Engineers from Indiana Tube have designed computerized,
state-of-the-art, high-speed mills capable of producing
tube around the clock at line speeds up to 1,000 feet per
minute. Utilizing this equipment they are able to produce
annealed, plain, or copper-coated steel tubing in long
length coils or cut to length, with O.D. sizes ranging
from .156" to .625". All operations from the monitoring
of the mill to the accounting and inventory departments
are computer controlled. As a result, accurate, precise
information is available at any point in the manufacturing
process. Additional capabilities within the facility include
the ability to cut to length, fabricate, or process to unique
specifications which incorporates annealing, copper-plating,
Zinc and Galfan coating, custom bends, and painted wire on tube
condensers.
