The HandyTube Corporation, a division of Handy & Harman, was designed specifically for the production of long seamless coiled tubing. Since beginning production in 1981, the facility has been expanded three times to increase capacity and improve overall capabilities.

Although the majority of tubing produced is 316L grade, HandyTube Corporation can produce many imperial and metric sizes in 304L, 321/321L, 317L, Inc625, Inc825, M400, C22, and C276 alloys. New alloys are regularly being evaluated and added to the list of coil drawing capabilities.

The long coils originally developed by HandyTube and Handy & Harman were destined for the oil & gas industries for control lines and chemical injection systems. The product has since been used by most major oil companies worldwide as well as many other petrochemical, pharmaceutical, heat tracing, and general instrumentation applications.

HandyTube Corporation produces the highest quality seamless tubing through cold drawing and solution annealing and currently offers the longest continuous length seamless coils available. In many grades, coils can be produced from 100 pound, 200 pound, or 300 pound hollows. Finished lengths vary by size.
