Camdel Metals utilizes an effective long term strategy of
continuous improvement operating under the Theory of Constraints.
The Theory of Constraints is a management philosophy developed
by Eliyahu M. Goldratt which focuses on maximizing the throughput
at the weakest link in a process.
Camdel uses this theory
to improve our performance so that we may achieve and exceed
our production goals. By constantly focusing our efforts
on eliminating bottlenecks and other sources of weakness,
we make our manufacturing process and overall business
stronger everyday.
One way Camdel ensures diligence in seeking
improvement is through the use of ManuSync to coordinate
the different stages of our product development.
The final
goal is to achieve full synchronization of the materials
planning, operations planning, order promising, sales,
production, and shop floor execution through the use of ManuSync
and the drum-buffer-rope system.
